A good friend of ours, Kenda, has a sweet little girl named Zala.

Zala is definitely one of the cutest little girls we have ever met, but unfortunately, she has been diagnosed with 'Late Infantile Neuronal Ceroid Lipofuscinosis' which is a degenerative brain disease.

She has been having seizures since last May, and has lost some of her speech. Recently, little Zala has lost the ability to walk, and Kenda (a single mom) has been fighting with Medicare to get financial assistance to purchase a walker… a dire necessity for enabling Zala to get around while she still has the ability to walk with assistance.

Because this disease is so rare, (only 4 known cases in Texas) there aren't many foundations or current grants to enlist for financial assistance, but we are working on that. In the meantime, to meet Zala's most pressing need of a stroller, our band has decided to donate a portion of our profits from each 'Angels Exist' t-shirt sold from now on, to help with the financial burdens facing Kenda.

In the future, we will be collaborating with others to address the headier needs of the family as well, but this walker for little Zala is needed immediately, so we wanted to use whatever resources were at hand. For the band, our most accessible resources are the Angel wings t-shirts that everyone seems to like so much.

If you would like to help us meet this need, please consider purchasing a shirt for yourself and your loved ones. We are $500 away from helping little Zala continuing to walk, and with your help, we can make this happen.
